The Respiratory Resource Hub is part of a larger system called TAM (Treatment and Medicines) which includes information and guidance for clinicians as well as patients.  If you use the dark blue menu bar above, you may find yourself in a different part of the system.  If this happens, click on Home, then on Respiratory Resource Hub from the menu on the left hand side of the screen.

The Respiratory Resource Hub has 9 sections - just click on the heading you are interested in, and browse the information available.

Each page of the resource hub includes a Print button - so you can print it out for yourself or somebody you care for.

  1. Welcome and introduction - this section
  2. My respiratory condition - provides links to information about the most common respiratory conditions
  3. My symptoms - provides links to information about the most common respiratory symptoms and help with managing them
  4. My wellbeing - rather than being specifically about your respiratory symptoms or condition, this section provides links to information about looking after your physical and mental wellbeing more generally
  5. My journey with the NHS - provides links to information about different parts of the NHS and the services available from them.
  6. My wider support network - provides links to information about different sources of support which are available
  7. My life, work & environment - provides links to information about other aspects of life which might affect, or be affected by, your respiratory condition
  8. For carers - this section is for people who are informal carers for people who have respiratory symptoms and conditions
  9. Learning events - this section is still under development - we are planning to hold regular online open learning sessions, with a talk by a respiratory specialist, or other staff from the NHS and 3rd sector organisations, followed by a live Q&A session - where you will be able to ask questions and get answers from the 'experts'.

Searching for information

There is a Search bar at the top of each screen - this searches all the information on the Respiratory Resource Hub, but also searches the rest of the TAM system.  Some of the links found by the search will take you outside the Respiratory Resource Hub to information intended mainly for clinicians.  You are very welcome to explore this information if it is of interest to you, but some of it may be difficult to understand.
